This page is currently designated to describe the process I’m having building my first bass.

I have played the bass for almost 15 years now.

I’m an amateur in the lutherie business (this is my first project), and I have only been building a couple of racks and pedalboards in wood before. But no experience with hardwoods. 

During the day time I work as a project manager  in a large public company. I’m educated in economics and have a master in Supply Chain Management. I’m a optimization specialist working with strategic initiatives e.g. bringing down cost in the long term.

So I have no prerequisites to start this project other than interest and the will to make it happen.

I have teamed up with my father who 40 years ago worked as a carpenter. He’s also the one who taught me to work with tools. I’m doing everything, but he’s always there (it’s his garage) to discuss solutions and help making the right decisions.
